OAKLAND, Calif. – UC Davis head coach Daniel Leyson has been named the 2021 Western Water Polo Affiliation (WWPA) Coach of the 12 months after guiding the seventh-ranked Aggies to their fourth convention title prior to now six seasons.
The award was decided through a league-wide ballot of convention head coaches following the 2021 WWPA Championship. It marks the fourth time Leyson has taken dwelling the convention’s high coach award (2016, 2017, 2019, 2021).
