Girls’s Water Polo – Wed, Feb. 23, 2022
OAKLAND, Calif. – The Western Water Polo Affiliation’s (WWPA) East Area converged on Erie, Pa. for the Curtis Robinette Memorial Invite final weekend.
Though the convention squads did not face one another instantly, all 4 groups have been in a position to scout each other towards like-opponents in Villanova, Siena and Mount St. Mary’s. Salem got here away with a 3-0 mark and McKendree went 2-1 on the weekend.
Cal State East Bay performed robust on the West Coast, taking down a Division I opponent and taking two further ranked groups to the brink.
WWPA Participant of the Week
McKendree graduate pupil Jaleh Moaddeli registered 10 targets, six assists, and 7 steals in three video games throughout the Curtis Robinette Memorial Invite. In a 28-5 win over PSB, she scored all three of her photographs, had two assists, and three steals in a single quarter of motion. In a 12-9 win over Mount St. Mary’s, she scored 5 targets and had two assists. In an 11-10 loss to Villanova, she had two targets, 4 assists, three steals and performed all the contest.
