OAKLAND, Calif. – Seven Western Water Polo Affiliation (WWPA) groups dive into convention competitors this weekend, with the East Area assembly for a round-robin in O’Fallon, Ailing. and Biola taking a visit to Northern California.
Fresno Pacific and Cal State East Bay opened their WWPA accounts with victories over Cal State Monterey Bay and Biola, respectively, final weekend. Biola clipped East Bay later within the weekend in a non-conference affair, and the 2 groups will meet once more this Saturday in Hayward. CSUMB hosts Biola on Friday night in Seaside with each groups searching for their first WWPA win.
All East Area groups head to McKendree for his or her first convention matches this weekend. The Bearcats lead the whole convention with 9 victories general in 2022 whereas WWPA preseason favourite Salem has eight. Every group will play two video games on Saturday with a single match on Sunday.
