Rising up in Hanover, MA and spending her summers on the Cape, Jill Stone has run the Falmouth Street Race in each 2014 and 2015, and could be very pleased to be again working this 12 months for Particular Olympics Xtra Mile Workforce together with her finest good friend, Elizabeth Downs.
Motivated by Particular Olympics Massachusetts athlete Andrew Lawson, Elizabeth’s cousin, in addition to her husband’s cousin, Seth Dame who’s a Particular Olympics Rhode Island athlete, Jill is working for #LawsonStrong and #SethStrong. “Andrew and Seth are two of the sweetest guys you’ll ever meet and I’m honored to run for these two wonderful athletes and the group that has inspired them to chase their desires!!”
Busy with work and motherhood, Jill makes use of working as time to herself. “As a working Mother it may be a number of the solely “me” time I get through the week. It’s a time to be with my ideas, launch some stress, and burn some energy. I’m a greater Mother and spouse once I’ve gone for my runs. Working with non-profit organizations all through her total profession in addition to adults with developmental disabilities, Jill is grateful for her involvement Particular Olympics. “I’ve labored for the American Pink Cross for 13 years as a Well being & Security Account Govt. I’ve labored for non-profit organizations my total profession and know the worth and significance of donations. My earlier job was a Residential Coordinator/Advocate at New England Village’s in Pembroke – a group for adults with developmental disabilities – a lot of my residents had been lively with Particular Olympics.”
