OAKLAND, Calif. – Defending Western Water Polo Affiliation (WWPA) champion Salem has been picked to take residence its second convention title in 2022 following a preseason ballot of convention head coaches. The Tigers led all groups with 46 whole factors and 5 first-place votes.

The 2022 WWPA Championship can be held Apr. 22-24, 2022 in Fresno, Calif.
All 4 West Area groups begin their seasons this weekend. Cal State East Bay, Cal State Monterey Bay and Fresno Pacific can be in Davis, Calif. for the annual Aggie Shootout whereas Biola performs its first-ever varsity matches towards Cal State Northridge and Pomona-Pitzer in Lengthy Seashore. The East Area begins common season play on Jan. 29.
